FAQ’S

How do I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online in advance through our website. With our Pick Your Spot system, you can choose your parking space before you even leave the house! Tickets may also be available at the gate—if we’re not sold out.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

Sorry, y’all—outside food and drinks are not allowed. Our concession stand offers a variety of snacks, meals, and beverages (and yes, they’re Fonteneaux-approved). Every bite you buy helps keep our screens lit and the fun rolling!

How do I hear the movie?

The movie audio will play through FM radio transmission. Just tune in using your car’s radio, or bring a portable FM radio if you plan to sit outside your vehicle. (Pro tip: bring extra batteries or a backup speaker!)

Will the movie play if it’s raining?

Yes! Movies will show rain or shine—unless severe weather makes it unsafe for guests or staff. Any cancellations or delays will be posted on our website and social media channels, so be sure to follow along.

Is there a playground?

Yes! We have an on-site playground for children to enjoy before the movie begins. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. No exceptions—Fonteneaux’s got a big heart, but no babysitting license.

Are pets allowed?

Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome in the outdoor areas! Just be sure to clean up after them and keep them close—especially during fireworks or concerts.

Is Bayou Cove accessible?

Yes! We offer accessible parking spaces and restrooms. If you need special assistance, just let a team member know—we’re happy to help.

Can I bring an RV or camper?

Absolutely! RV space rentals are available, with limited spots for overnight stays. Perfect for movie marathons or concert nights.

What kind of events do you host besides movies?

We’re more than movies! Bayou Cove will also host live concerts, seasonal festivals, and special community events throughout the year. Check our calendar and follow us online to stay in the loop!

What should I bring?

We’ve got you taken care of, however if you want to sit in the immediate area outside of your vehicle you will need lawn chairs, blankets, bug spray, a portable radio, and your favorite people. Dress for the weather—and bring your sense of adventure.

When should I arrive?

For the first showing only, gates open 90 minutes before showtime giving you time to find your spot, grab concessions, and let the kids hit the playground. For the second and third showing, you can arrive 30 minutes prior to showtime and use the website or app to have a carhop deliver your concession order.

Is there a family-friendly primetime?

Yes, the first movie showing will primarily be G, PG, or PG-13 Rated movies.
